The Program for Leading Graduate Schools promoted by the JSPS aims to develop well-rounded and creative leaders capable of participating actively in global industry, academia, and government. Additionally, the Institute of Statistical Mathematics aims to develop human resources that can play an active role globally in the fields of information science and statistical mathematics. This program seeks to foster greater synergy between two related disciplines and in doing so, make new contributions and develop a new generation of innovative technological leaders.
