Symposium 2014.12.20
On December 3, 2014 the Nagoya University Program for Leading Graduate Schools Joint Symposium was held at the Nagoya University Noyori Conference Hall.
This symposium was held to introduce the program's activities to both students and the general public, with participation from graduates of the six leading graduate school programs. It was planned and organized by student committee members from each program beginning in June of this year. Eight students from the Program for Development of Real-Word Data Circulation Leaders were involved in introducing the symposium program, group presentations, and panel discussions. We also heard keynote speeches from Norichika Kanie, Associate Professor of the Tokyo Institute of Technology and Chikako Takase, Director of the United Nations Centre for Regional Development. It was an important opportunity to think about sustainable development, the topic of this symposium. During the reception after the symposium, many friendly greetings were exchanged and there was a harmonious atmosphere among the participants.
