Industry-Academia Creative Group Work

The Industry-Academia Creative Group Work is a workshop where students learn about business mind and project management while working in a group, under supervision of business mentors.

This time's theme is the creation of a new market model involving IT. In recent years, there have been new businesses which think outside the box of traditional market models directly connecting service providers and customers. For example, through the adaption of technologies like smart phones, sharing businesses like Uber, Airbnb or Anyca came into existence.

In this group work, the goal is to propose such a novel market model. Each group investigates existing market models for a set field and discusses ideas for new solutions.
Furthermore, the designated leader for each project tries to manage the group with task management and a progress schedule.

In this time's Plenary Meeting, the students first participated an orientation session. Afterwards, each group started creating a rough project schedule and decided their group's market field. Each group will work on their project for 1 month and the results will be discussed in the March Plenary Meeting.
