The following is a brief summary of the contents of the Plenary Meeting.

Global challenge II

Through the Global Challenge II, RWDC students visit research institutes longer than several months and conduct the research at the world's most advanced sites. The purpose of this activity is to experience the world's top-level research and deepen exchanges with various researchers. On the meeting of this time, one student reported on his experiences and achievements of Global Challenge II. Due to the spread of the COVID19, all activities were carried out online, but the student was able to interact with top-level researchers around the world and gained very constructive opinions about his research. Group discussion session

"Relationship between RWDC student research and real-world circulation"

Students of RWDC leading program requested to include a chapter in their PhD dissertation that discusses the relationship between their research and real-world data circulation. In this regard, RWDC students explain their research and then discuss the relationship with the real-world data circulation and the social value created by the real-world data circulation. It will be a meaningful opportunity to think about the real-world data circulation in the RWDC students' own research. First, Professor Naoki Nishida explained the purpose of this session. Next, the two RWDC students introduced their research and explained their relationship with the real-world data circulation. Finally, the students and mentors were divided into two groups to have a heated discussion about the research of the introduced students.
