December Plenary Meeting Announcement

The Plenary Meeting in December was actually held at the Leader's Saloon. Students who are unable to attend on-site due to unavoidable reasons can also participate in zoom. Specifically, the real-world data exercise (Seino information service project) was kicked off.

Real-world data exercise (provided by Seino Information Service Co., Ltd.) Kickoff

At the previous plenary meeting, a discussion was held among the students regarding the content to be implemented at future plenary meetings in an environment where face-to-face meetings are now possible, and several implementation plans were presented. Among them, "Real World Data Exercise", which is a group work on data analysis and consulting to solve problems related to real data from companies, which was strongly requested by students, will be held for two months from this month until the plenary meeting in February. This "Real World Data Exercise" is a core group of the "Practical Data Scientist Development Program", an educational program for graduate students and working adults, which is conducted by the Center for Mathematics and Data Science, Nagoya University. This time, the assignment provided by Seino Information Service Co., Ltd., which the real world leading students will work on, will be the assignment that will be carried out in the "real world data exercise" of the same program this year.

This time, as the first time, after explaining the purpose of the "Real World Data Exercise", the person in charge of Seino Information Service Co., Ltd. (Mr. Ishii), who provided the issue, gave an overview of the data issue, the goals, and the details of the data to be provided. etc. was explained. After that, after a question and answer session, the first meeting was held by the real-world leading students in charge, and finally, the contents of this discussion were introduced.
