Graduate School of Engineering

I was born in Anjo City. I graduated from Aichi Prefectural Kariya High School and entered Nagoya University.

My research interests are computer vision and remote sensing. Satellite images have been widely utilized for various purposes. However, noise caused by clouds makes monitoring the ground unstable if using an ordinary visible-light camera. Currently, we develop a method to remove clouds from RGB satellite images. To be unaffected by clouds, images captured by longer wavelength are introduced. We propose a deep neural network that is able to remove clouds from multispectral images and generate a better visible-light image.
