After I graduated from Aichi Prefectural Toyota Nishi High School, I entered Nagoya University and majored in Physical Science and Engineering in 2014. I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree with this major in 2018. I became interested in radioisotopes after the accident at the Fukushima nuclear power plant that occurred when I was in junior high school. As a result of these experiences, I have a dream of improving society through radiation detection technology. My current research field is the development of a gamma-ray source detection method. We are developing a method to detect the position and activity of gamma-ray sources safely and quickly.
