Report on the orientation session for enrollment in Leading Graduate School in 2018

The orientation session for enrollment into the Leading Graduate School for Academic Year 2018 has been held. The programs' coordinator Prof. Kazuya Takeda and third inaugural class student Kenta Urano introduced the program and its student activities.

Introduction of the program

Prof. Kazuya Takeda and third inaugural class student Kenta Urano introduced the program and its student activities.

Prof. Takeda emphasized the importance and value of creating new innovations, brought by changing jobs due to recent revolutions in Artificial Intelligence methods. It was followed by an introduction of start-up companies created by students and the supporting curriculum of the program.

Afterwards, participants were brought into the Leaders' Studio / Saloon, where Mr. Urano introduced them to student activities of the program while visiting the programs' facilities. The participants asked questions to both faculty members and Mr. Urano, covering the programs' activities as well as the application process.
