Third year doctoral student (D1 mid-enrollment students)

Growing up in a historical area in China, I have surrounded myself with people having great ambitions for becoming a better self. There are always opportunities to become a better person. College life in Beijing has not only allowed me to study in a different environment, but also to meet people with various viewpoints and different local cultures. It was merely a start, but somehow an important one, to prepare myself for the diversified world. I really appreciated those years in my life and in the city, in particular, for providing me these chances, so I could discover and explore more of myself. Luckily, I never stopped going to different places. Through cultural exchange and traveling, I had a glance at life in other countries. I always wanted to be an international volunteer, so I went to Malaysia for a short time before graduating from college. I decided to study in Japan, because of a half year exchange to Taiwan. Those days made me realize my true eager to go to a new place and learn about other interesting culture. Here I am, joining RWDC, and waiting to start my life as a doctoral student. I will also try hard during my student life, to guide me to prepare for a better future in the real world!
