Dain Kim

Department of Applied Physics, Graduate School of Engineering

I first came to Japan October 2011, and after learning Japanese for half a year, I entered the school of physical science and engineering, Nagoya University. Through those four years, I became interested in computational science, especially algorithm and optimization, that I chose to enter the department of computational science and engineering for my master’s degree. Now, I am in Zhang laboratory studying parareal method to solve similar kinds of differential equations at one time.

In this reading program, I want to make many friends and also achieve social skills to deal with people from various fields. Also, I want to learn many kinds of programing skills from those courses provided in this program. Furthermore, I will become much better and greater person from now and as an engineer, I will become an engineer who can make a great contribution to society.

I love meeting people, drinking, playing with friends, going somewhere new, taking pictures, traveling, shopping, snowboarding, and discussing about interesting and important topics. If you are interested in one of those, please tell me!:-))
