国立久留米工業高等専門学校制御情報工学科を卒業後，同校専攻科機械・電気システム工学専攻へ進学．
同校で動画像符号化に関する研究に従事する中で，名古屋大学の藤井俊彰教授の3次元映像処理の研究に興味を持ち，名古屋大学大学院工学研究科への進学を決意．
現在は同大学藤井研究室に所属し，3次元視覚情報の取得や圧縮に関する研究に取り組んでいる．

After graduating from the National Institute of Technology, Kurume College (NIT-KC), I entered the Mechanical and Electrical Systems Engineering Advanced Course, in the Advanced Engineering School of NIT-KC.
While I had studied video coding techniques at the college, I was interested in the research on 3D video processing conducted by Prof. Toshiaki Fujii at Nagoya University, and decided to enroll in Nagoya University's Graduate School of Engineering.
I currently belong to the Fujii Laboratory at Nagoya University, and I am studying the acquisition and compression of 3D visual information.
